scantir is run by [company legal name] ("scantir", "we"). by creating an account or calling the api you agree to these terms. if you are using scantir for a company, you confirm you can agree on its behalf.
an http api that fetches web pages and google search results on your behalf, with proxy rotation, browser rendering and css extraction, plus a console to manage keys, usage and billing. it is offered as-is and changes often; the changelog records what changed.
you are responsible for what you request and what you do with the result. in particular, you agree not to:
we may block domains, rate-limit keys or suspend accounts that cause abuse complaints or put the platform at risk. we will tell you when we do, unless the law stops us.
we run the service with care but do not offer an uptime or success-rate guarantee today. if we add one it will be written down here and on the pricing page, not implied elsewhere.
what we store and why is in the privacy policy. in short: account details, hashed keys, and per-request domain and outcome metadata — never the page content you fetch, and full urls only inside the error message of a failed fetch.
to the extent the law allows, the service is provided without warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. we are not liable for what you do with the data you fetch.
we may update these terms. for material changes we email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. these terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction, e.g. the state of X / country Y].
questions go to hey@scantir.com. the founders reply within one business day.
